Cesar Ramirez

Cesar Ramirez is a Mexican native, born in 1974. As a child, he became fondly nicknamed by his friends as “the blond horse”- Translation in Spanish: El Alazan. Cesar was born of Mexican Heritage, but didn’t have the native brown eyes & dark hair. Instead, he had a full head of shoulder-length blond hair & green eyes. Since those young childhood days, the name has stuck. Cesar was one of 6 children- his father worked in restaurants when Cesar was a kid. Before coming to the US in 2001, Cesar owned 3 restaurants in Guerra, Mexico, where he also obtained a BA in Business Administration.

Cesar opened El Alazan Western Wear #2 in 2014 on Alexandria Dr. In Lexington, KY. His location was perfectly positioned to reach the world-renowned Keeneland Racetrack & a large number of horse farmers & tradesmen in the area. In June 2022, Cesar opened his second location at 170 E New Circle Rd. (Also in Lexington, KY) Being an Ariat Dealer, Ramirez has seen his business steadily grow, reaching new customers and farm owners near Paris Pike & Russell Cave Rd.
